Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of a new wave of missile attacks targeting US and Israeli positions across the Middle East as part of Operation True Promise 4.
According to an official IRGC statement, the 37th wave of the operation involved continuous missile strikes lasting nearly three hours. The attacks reportedly targeted strategic sites in Erbil in Iraq, Tel Aviv in Israel, and the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
The IRGC stated that a satellite communications center in southern Tel Aviv was struck for the second time during the operation. Missiles were also reportedly launched toward the Israeli port city of Haifa, a key strategic and commercial hub.
Iran said the strikes involved several missile systems, including Khyber Shekan, Ghadr, and Khorramshahr ballistic missiles, some equipped with multiple warheads. According to the statement, the Ghadr missile carries a warhead weighing close to one ton.
Iranian officials said Operation True Promise 4 began last month following military actions by the United States and Israel against Iranian targets. The latest escalation reflects rising tensions across the region as both sides continue military exchanges.
