Hamid Reza Sabit Ismailpour hanged for sharing sensitive info with Mossad amid protests
Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: The Iranian judiciary confirmed the execution of Hamid Reza Sabit Ismailpour for espionage on behalf of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad. Sabit Ismailpour was accused of providing sensitive information about Iranian officials, strategic institutions, and missile sites to Israel.
Arrested in April 2025, he was found guilty of facilitating sabotage, transferring explosive-laden vehicles, and supplying classified intelligence to Israel. This execution marks one of several amid heightened tensions following June clashes between Iran and Israel. Human rights groups report that at least 12 individuals have been executed on similar charges since last year.
The incident comes despite previous threats by U.S. President Donald Trump warning Iran against carrying out executions of those accused of aiding Israel. Iranian authorities continue to conduct extensive operations against individuals accused of espionage and providing sensitive national security information to foreign nations.
