Iran Deploys Advanced Air Defense, Targets 7 US Aircraft

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran has deployed a state-of-the-art air defense system, claiming significant success against United States aircraft in the ongoing Gulf conflict. Iranian military officials stated that the new system was designed to target US planes that previously evaded interception.

According to Iran’s military command, the advanced system successfully engaged multiple US aircraft, including helicopters and drones, over the past few days. Officials reported that one US pilot remains missing following the strikes.

Iranian authorities claim that despite prolonged US and Israeli air superiority, Tehran now maintains full control over its airspace. Iranian state media highlighted that previous assertions by US President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pat Hagerty about air dominance were proven inaccurate by the recent engagements.

Since the outbreak of the conflict on February 28, Iran reports having downed seven US warplanes, marking a major strategic achievement in the ongoing military operations.
