Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Israel claimed in a recent video statement that dozens of bombs struck Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s residential compound, targeting him along with several high-ranking Iranian officials. The Israeli Prime Minister asserted that Iran’s top military and nuclear facilities were attacked, and that key commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed, warning that thousands more targets could be struck in the coming days.
However, Tehran has strongly rejected these claims, stating that Khamenei and other senior officials remain safe at secure locations. Iranian sources added that despite missiles falling near the presidential palace, both Supreme Leader Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian were unharmed.
Reports from various news agencies also suggested that Iranian Defense Minister Amir Nasirzadeh and IRGC head Mohammad Pakpour may have been killed, though Iranian authorities have not officially confirmed these claims.
These developments follow coordinated US and Israeli air and naval strikes on multiple sites across Iran, which Tehran reports have resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties.
