Tehran claims enhanced missile capability and numbers after lessons learned from Israel conflict
Tehran, Iran | Web Desk – Iran’s Ministry of Defense has announced a significant enhancement in its missile power following last year’s conflict with Israel, claiming improved capability, quantity, and defensive effectiveness.
According to Iranian Defense Ministry spokesperson Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, Iran has upgraded both the quality and number of its missiles compared to those used during the 12-day war with Israel in June last year. He said the experience gained from the conflict has strengthened Iran’s missile defense systems and overall operational effectiveness.
The spokesperson revealed that Iran has also developed specialized missiles with specific capabilities in response to emerging threats, adding that details of these weapons will remain classified to ensure strategic surprise at the right time.
Rejecting recent threats against Iran, General Talaei-Nik stated that such warnings reflect the enemy’s fear of Iran’s growing defensive strength and missile power. He emphasized that Iran remains fully prepared to respond decisively to any aggression.
It is worth noting that during the conflict with Israel, Iranian missile strikes reportedly targeted key military and economic installations, causing significant damage. Iranian analysts believe these strikes played a role in the ceasefire announcement on June 24.
Iranian officials and military commanders have also warned that any US attack on Iran would trigger retaliatory strikes on American military bases across the region.
