Iran Army Chief Says Forces Ready to Counter All Threats

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Army Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, has said the country’s armed forces are fully prepared to confront any threats or conspiracies, emphasizing that military readiness has significantly strengthened in recent years.

Speaking in line with directives from the Supreme Leader, Hatami noted that the Iranian military remains committed to safeguarding national sovereignty, protecting borders, and ensuring the country’s security. He added that the armed forces are operating with enhanced confidence, backed by public support and strategic leadership.

The army chief highlighted that lessons learned from the eight-year Iran-Iraq war, as well as more recent regional conflicts, have reinforced the need to continuously upgrade defense capabilities. He stressed that maintaining high preparedness is essential for effectively responding to evolving security challenges.

Hatami reaffirmed that Iran’s military stands vigilant and capable of responding decisively to any form of aggression, amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
