Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s Army Chief Major General Amir Hatami has said that the country’s enemies wish for Iran to surrender, but stressed that such expectations will never be fulfilled.
Speaking at a ceremony, the Iranian military commander said that despite decades of external pressure and targeted attacks, the determination of the Iranian people remains “unshaken.”
He stated that adversaries had wrongly assumed that targeting leadership figures would lead to the collapse of the state. However, he said Iran has continued to function and resist despite facing military and political pressure, even during periods of diplomatic negotiations.
Major General Hatami further said that Iran’s officials have managed the situation with resilience during times of conflict, preventing what he described as serious disruptions to the country.
He also criticized naval blockades, calling them a form of piracy, and vowed that Iran would not allow such measures or external pressure to succeed.
The army chief added that thousands of personnel are ready to sacrifice for the country and reiterated that Iran would “never bow down” to foreign demands.
