India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, ignited political controversy after urging youth to harbor revenge and normalize violence against Muslims during the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue 2026. Experts and opposition leaders strongly criticized his remarks, calling them a direct incitement to communal violence. Social activist Mehbooba Mufti stated that promoting revenge over centuries-old events is misleading and dangerous. Analysts warn that the so-called “Doval Doctrine” could exacerbate instability in South Asia and pose risks to global peace, highlighting historical tensions and the influence of organizations like RSS.
