Tel Aviv / Tehran – Web Desk: A senior Israeli military commander has acknowledged the growing combat capabilities of Hezbollah, warning that the group poses a significant and sustained threat to Israel’s security.
According to Israeli military leadership, Hezbollah remains fully operational and is believed to possess approximately 10,000 rockets along with multiple launch systems. The commander stated that the group has the capability to sustain prolonged conflict and could reportedly launch up to 500 rockets per day for several months.
The remarks highlight a widening gap between earlier Israeli assessments and current battlefield realities, with officials conceding that Hezbollah’s resilience and firepower have exceeded expectations.
Meanwhile, tensions in the region have intensified as Iranian officials issued strong warnings to the United States and Israel. A spokesperson for Iran’s central military command cautioned that any escalation would trigger a broad and forceful response, with consequences likely to affect the wider Middle East.
Analysts say such statements reflect escalating geopolitical tensions and raise concerns over a potential expansion of conflict across the region.
