Harvard Pakistan Conference Praises Reforms, Policy

Date:

Cambridge, United States – Web Desk: The Harvard Pakistan Conference 2026 was held on April 12 at Harvard University, bringing together international scholars, policymakers, and analysts to discuss Pakistan’s economic reforms, foreign policy, and socio-cultural development.

The conference covered a wide range of topics including Pakistan’s creative economy, social innovation, digital transformation, education, healthcare, media, and the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora.

Participants praised Pakistan’s independent and balanced foreign policy, noting its role in regional mediation and diplomatic engagement. Some speakers also described regional geopolitical challenges, referring to India’s posture as an obstacle to long-term peace in South Asia.

Speakers at the event acknowledged that, at the state level, Pakistan does not practice discrimination based on sectarian or religious identity. They highlighted the role of the Hindu community in Sindh’s business sector and recognized the presence of historic and architecturally significant churches across the country.

The conference also emphasized the active role of Pakistani civil society in promoting inclusivity, cultural development, and social cohesion.
