Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: A grand ceremony was held in Karachi to mark Italy’s 80th Republic Day, hosted by Italian Consul General Fabrizio Belli at a local hotel, celebrating strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Italy.
The event was attended by Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Provincial Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho, Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Hyder Shah, along with senior government officials, diplomats, and prominent social figures.
In his address, Consul General Fabrizio Belli expressed satisfaction over the strengthening Pakistan–Italy relationship, highlighting growing cooperation in economic, trade, and business sectors. He emphasized continued efforts to expand bilateral partnership and explore new areas of collaboration.
The event featured a cultural showcase highlighting Italian fashion, industry, and lifestyle. Exhibitions included well-known Italian brands such as Ferrari, Fiat Abarth, and Vespa, along with displays of furniture, apparel, perfumes, coffee, and gelato, which were widely appreciated by attendees.
The ceremony concluded with a lucky draw and distribution of gifts from participating Italian brands, adding a celebratory touch to the evening.
Officials said the event reflected growing cultural harmony and strengthened diplomatic and economic ties between Pakistan and Italy.
