Gold prices spike in Pakistan amid global trend

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Gold prices recorded a significant surge on Saturday, mirroring a strong bullish trend in both domestic and global markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs10,000, reaching Rs550,562. The significant jump has further intensified concerns among buyers and investors amid continued volatility in the bullion market.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs8,574, taking it to Rs447,018 in the domestic market.

Meanwhile, the upward trend was also observed in the global market, where gold prices rose by $100 to settle at $5,278 per ounce. Analysts attribute the surge to heightened geopolitical tensions and increased demand for safe-haven assets in international markets.
