Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Gold prices witnessed a decline in both global and domestic markets on Tuesday, according to market data from bullion traders.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $10 per ounce, bringing the new global rate to $4,778.
Following the global trend, local gold markets in Pakistan also recorded a decrease. The price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,000, settling at Rs5,162,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs857 to reach Rs428,808.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend. In the local market, the price of per tola silver fell by Rs59 to Rs8,358, while 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs51 to Rs7,165.
Analysts say fluctuations in global bullion rates continue to directly impact local pricing trends in Pakistan’s gold and silver markets.
