Karachi, Pakistan – Staff Reporter: Gold prices recorded a modest increase in Pakistan on Saturday, with rates rising by Rs1,187 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association .
The price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed to Rs431,323, while the rate for 10 grams increased by Rs989 to Rs368,074 .
In the international bullion market, gold prices rose by $11.87 per ounce to $4,088, reflecting renewed demand for safe-haven assets amid global economic uncertainty and ongoing geopolitical tensions .
Market analysts noted that the uptick in gold prices comes as investors await further developments in the US-Iran peace process, with conflicting signals emerging regarding the fragile ceasefire in the Middle East. The precious metal continues to be viewed as a hedge against inflation and regional instability .
