Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Gold prices in Pakistan have experienced a significant drop, with the price of one tola declining by over PKR 11,000 on Thursday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of one tola of gold fell by PKR 11,000 to PKR 468,262. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by PKR 9,430 to PKR 401,059.
The decline aligns with trends in the global market, where the price of gold fell by $110 to $4,455 per ounce. Analysts attribute the drop to fluctuations in international commodity prices and currency exchange movements affecting domestic gold rates.
Investors and consumers are advised to monitor the market closely, as further volatility in gold prices is expected in the coming days.
