KARACHI – Web Desk: Gold prices continued their upward trajectory in both international and local markets on Monday, extending a rally that began last week.
In the international bullion market, the price per ounce of gold rose by $8, pushing the new global price to $4,716 per ounce, according to market data.
Influenced by the global trend, local bullion markets also saw an increase on the first trading day of the week. The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs 800, reaching Rs 493,962 per tola. Similarly, the price per 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 686 to settle at Rs 423,492.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in local markets. Per tola silver held steady at Rs 8,049, while per 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs 6,900.
