Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Gold and silver prices witnessed a fresh increase in both global and local markets on Wednesday, driven by international bullion trends.
In the global bullion market, the price of gold rose by $35 per ounce, reaching $4,811 per ounce, according to market data.
Following the international trend, local bullion markets in Karachi also recorded a significant increase. The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs3,500, reaching Rs503,462.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs3,001, settling at Rs431,637.
Silver prices also moved upward in line with gold. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs144 to Rs8,404, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs124 to Rs7,205.
Market reports indicate that after fluctuations earlier in the week, including declines over the weekend and Monday, prices rebounded in the previous trading session and continued their upward momentum.
