Web Desk – Karachi, Pakistan: Gold and silver prices witnessed a significant decline in both international and local markets on the first trading day of the week, reflecting pressure in global bullion trends.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold per ounce fell by $38 to reach $4,576. The decline directly impacted local markets, where gold prices also dropped sharply.
In Pakistan’s bullion markets, the price of per tola gold decreased by Rs3,800, bringing it down to Rs479,962. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs3,257 to settle at Rs411,490.
Silver prices also followed the downward trend. Per tola silver dropped by Rs100 to Rs7,914, while 10 grams silver declined by Rs86 to Rs6,784.
Market analysts say fluctuations in global demand, currency movements, and international economic uncertainty continue to influence precious metal prices.
