Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has postponed matriculation examinations in four countries — Iran, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain — citing security concerns.
According to an official notification, examinations scheduled at centres in these countries will not be held for the time being, while exams at all other overseas centres will continue as per the previously announced schedule.
The board also confirmed that the issuance of roll number slips for students in the affected countries has been suspended. However, candidates may be facilitated to appear in examinations within Pakistan or in nearby countries, depending on feasibility.
Authorities stated that alternative arrangements would be made if logistical challenges arise at any overseas examination centre. The situation will be reviewed after 15 days, and revised dates will be announced once conditions improve.
FBISE added that if the security situation stabilises, the remaining examinations will proceed according to the original timetable.
