Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Veteran actor and host Faisal Qureshi has urged Pakistan’s showbiz community to take a break from the ongoing wedding frenzy. Speaking on his Ramadan television program, Qureshi highlighted the practical and financial challenges of attending multiple weddings in quick succession.
With the year 2026 reportedly shaping up as a “year of weddings” in the entertainment industry, Qureshi humorously advised his co-stars to pause for a while, noting that constant invitations are exhausting both for guests and their wallets.
Qureshi also shared lighthearted advice with actress Momina Iqbal, suggesting that she avoid getting married during the peak wedding season to ensure her celebrations receive due attention. He emphasized that while attending weddings is enjoyable, the cumulative cost of gifts and other expenses can amount to millions of rupees.
The actor’s comments come at a time when numerous young stars in the Pakistani entertainment industry have recently tied the knot, making 2026 a particularly busy year for celebrity nuptials.
