Brussels, Belgium – Web Desk: The European Union has warned that the rapidly deteriorating situation in the Middle East poses a serious threat to regional stability.
EU foreign policy chief Kaya Kallas expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions, describing the scenario as “extremely dangerous” for the region. She urged all parties to ensure the protection of civilians and adhere strictly to international law.
In response to security concerns, the EU has begun evacuating non-essential staff from the region. Kallas stated that the bloc is in continuous contact with Arab partners to help de-escalate tensions and manage the crisis effectively.
Additionally, European consular networks have been fully mobilized to ensure the safe return of EU citizens, providing emergency assistance wherever necessary.
