Court Grants Interim Bail to Dr Fazeela Abbasi

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Dr Fazeela Abbasi has been granted interim bail by a court in Pakistan in connection with an alleged illegal clinic case, providing significant legal relief to the accused.

According to court proceedings, Abbasi approached the court seeking bail in the case. The hearing was conducted by Special Central Judge Humayun Dilawar, who approved her interim bail against surety bonds of Rs50,000 until April 15.

The court also directed Abbasi to cooperate with investigators and join the ongoing inquiry into the case.

Officials confirmed that the accused is already on bail in a separate money laundering case. Two additional cases have been registered against her by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), including one by its anti-money laundering cell and another by the anti-corruption circle.

The case has drawn public attention due to Abbasi’s presence on social media platforms, highlighting ongoing concerns over regulation, compliance, and legal oversight of private medical practices in Pakistan.
