QUETTA (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif arrived in Quetta on Tuesday on a one-day official visit.
Punjab CM was warmly received at Quetta Airport by Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, along with provincial ministers. Following her arrival, the Punjab chief minister proceeded to the Governor House, where a one-on-one meeting with the Balochistan governor is scheduled.
During her visit, Maryam Nawaz will meet the families of those martyred and injured in recent terrorist attacks and express solidarity with them.
She is also expected to hold a meeting with Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti. In addition, consultations with members of the Balochistan cabinet on the province’s current political and security situation will take place at the Governor House.
Punjab ministers Marriyum Aurangzeb and Uzma Bukhari, along with the Punjab chief secretary, are accompanying the chief minister.
