London, United Kingdom – Web Desk: Former UK Labour Party leader and independent Member of Parliament Jeremy Corbyn has alleged serious abuses involving Palestinian bodies returned from Gaza, citing claims from the director of Al-Shifa Hospital.
In a recent video, Corbyn said the hospital director told him that dozens of bodies sent via the International Committee of the Red Cross were missing organs, with some reportedly delivered in boxes containing only skulls. He also alleged that female bodies showed signs that organs had been removed.
Corbyn described the allegations as a “grave and painful tragedy” for Palestinians and said such incidents highlight the suffering faced by civilians in Gaza. He added that bodies have been transferred through international coordination channels since Israeli forces withdrew from the hospital area in October 2025, with the latest transfer reported on January 29.
Israel strongly rejected the allegations. An Israel Defense Forces (IDF) international spokesperson said the claims were unfounded and accused Corbyn and the social media account that published the video of spreading misinformation. The spokesperson said Israeli forces have not been near Al-Shifa Hospital for months and that the military operates in accordance with international law, which strictly prohibits such actions.
The IDF added that the return of Palestinian bodies is coordinated through international mechanisms and the Red Cross, and urged verification of facts before making serious accusations.
The allegations have triggered strong reactions on social media, highlighting ongoing international scrutiny of the conflict and humanitarian concerns in Gaza.
