WASHINGTON, United States – Web Desk: Senior Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer has called for an immediate end to the conflict with Iran, sharply criticizing President Donald Trump over the escalating war.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, Schumer said the conflict must end immediately, warning that the longer the war continues, the worse the situation will become.
“We need to end Trump’s war immediately because the longer this disastrous war continues, the worse things will get,” Schumer said.
He added that the conflict is intensifying day by day and warned that the United States is sinking deeper into instability.
Tagging Trump in his post, Schumer argued that the war has weakened America’s economy, military readiness, and national security.
His remarks come as political pressure grows in Washington over the economic and security consequences of prolonged tensions with Iran.
