Dhaka, Bangladesh – Web Desk: Ahead of the general elections on February 12, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has nominated Krishna Nandi, a Hindu businessman, from Khulna-1 constituency. Nandi emphasized that under a JI government, Hindu citizens will live with dignity and security. He highlighted that Islamic political parties can ensure minority representation and protection, dispelling concerns about religious discrimination. Nandi also cited JI’s role in safeguarding temples and minority communities during past unrest, showcasing the party’s commitment to equality, law, and justice.
