Quetta, Pakistan – Web Desk: Train operations from Balochistan remained suspended for a second consecutive day on Thursday as Pakistan Railways continued repair work on the railway track, disrupting travel to several major cities across the country.
According to Pakistan Railways, no trains will depart from Quetta until the ongoing maintenance work is completed. The suspension follows a similar halt in services on the previous day due to track restoration efforts.
Railway authorities also confirmed that the Jaffar Express, scheduled to depart from Quetta for Peshawar, has been cancelled for the day. Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express travelling from Peshawar to Quetta will terminate at Jacobabad instead of completing its journey to Quetta.
Officials said passengers affected by the suspension and train cancellation will receive full refunds for their tickets. Pakistan Railways has advised travelers to stay updated through official channels before planning their journeys.
