Atiqa Odho Responds Calmly to Fahad Mustafa Comment Controversy

Date:

Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistani actress Atiqa Odho has responded with a calm and measured statement after a lighthearted but controversial exchange with actor and television host Fahad Mustafa sparked debate on social media.

The issue began during a private television show where Odho was asked to offer advice to various actors whose photos were shown on screen. When Fahad Mustafa’s image appeared, she suggested that the actor should consider working with actresses closer to his age.

Mustafa, who is currently promoting his upcoming film and hosts a popular television program, responded jokingly that Odho might want to be his heroine but would need “a few more surgeries.” The remark quickly gained traction online, triggering mixed reactions from fans and industry observers.

In response, Odho shared a thoughtful post on her official Instagram account, urging people not to escalate the matter. She described Mustafa as a talented and hardworking professional and said public figures often face intense scrutiny even over lighthearted comments.

Odho clarified that her earlier remark may have unintentionally hurt Mustafa’s feelings and acknowledged that his response was emotional. She offered an apology if her words caused discomfort to him or anyone else and stressed the importance of supporting each other in challenging times.

“We are all human and mistakes happen. Let us move forward and pray for better days,” she wrote, emphasizing that she holds no ill intentions toward colleagues in the media industry.

Social media users largely praised Odho for her maturity and composure, calling her response dignified and reflective of her seniority in the entertainment industry.
