Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Renowned anchor Junaid Saleem has made startling revelations regarding alleged money laundering involving Dr. Fazeela Abbasi, sister of actor Hamza Ali Abbasi.
Dr. Abbasi, a prominent dermatologist and aesthetician frequently seen on television discussing beauty topics, is reportedly under investigation in two separate FIA money laundering cases. Islamabad Sessions Court has also revoked her interim bail in connection with these cases.
According to Saleem, approximately Rs25 billion in transactions were conducted through 22 bank accounts linked to Dr. Abbasi. Some accounts are reportedly jointly operated with her brother and mother. The transactions reportedly included significant fund transfers, with payments sometimes routed through checks issued in the names of drivers and other employees.
Sources further reveal that Dr. Abbasi’s Islamabad-based clinic is unregistered, and she has declared an annual income of only Rs400,000 to Rs600,000, raising serious discrepancies with the scale of financial activity in question.
Authorities are currently investigating the origin and destination of the funds, with further disclosures expected as the FIA continues its probe. The case has sparked widespread media attention due to the involvement of a high-profile family and substantial sums of money.
