ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A newly surfaced report from the superintendent of Adiala Jail has revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan enjoys a dedicated 7-cell compound within the prison, complete with amenities far beyond standard facilities.
The compound, designed exclusively for the former Prime Minister, has the capacity to hold 30–35 prisoners and includes a 57-foot-long corridor and an adjacent 35-by-37-foot lawn. According to the report, Khan uses the space for sunbathing, reading, and light exercise, with gym equipment such as a cycling machine available to maintain physical fitness. He reportedly enjoys unrestricted access to natural light and fresh air from morning until evening.
The report also details the PTI founder’s meals, which are served three times a day and emphasize a balance of nutrition and variety:
- Breakfast: Dates, walnuts, honey, coffee porridge, lassi, hot milk, chia seeds, masmi, and pomegranate juice.
- Lunch: Local chicken, mutton, salad, achar mix, potato chips, fried eggs, and mixed lentils.
- Evening Snacks: Almonds, raisins, coconut powder, milk, banana, apple, and date shakes.
These gourmet meals reflect a combination of traditional Pakistani foods and health-focused items.
The superintendent’s report also highlights the security and privacy measures surrounding the compound. The layout is designed to maintain safety while allowing personal space, recreational activity, and exercise. The arrangements ensure the founder’s well-being, offering a controlled yet comfortable environment within the prison.
