Lahore, Pakistan – Web Desk: Fresh legal troubles have emerged for PML-N lawmaker Saqib Chadhar, who has recently been in the spotlight over allegations involving actress Momina Iqbal. Authorities in Lahore have registered three separate cases against the provincial legislator in connection with alleged cheque dishonour and financial fraud claims.

According to police records, the cases were registered at the Defence-A Police Station on the complaint of a woman identified as Mah Rukh Arif.

The complainant alleged that she sold a property worth Rs600 million after entering into an agreement with Saqib Chadhar and another individual identified as Akbar Khan. She claimed that three cheques were issued as part of the transaction but were later dishonoured due to insufficient funds.

According to the FIR, the cheques carried a combined value of Rs270 million. The complainant further alleged that despite repeated demands, the accused refused to return the money owed under the agreement.

Mah Rukh Arif stated in her complaint that she is a cancer patient and had approached the accused while seeking to sell her property. Police have confirmed the registration of the cases and said further legal proceedings are underway.

The allegations have not yet been proven in court, and investigations remain ongoing.
