England Team Equipment Stolen Ahead of FIFA World Cup

Date:

London, United Kingdom – Web Desk: England’s FIFA World Cup preparations have suffered an unexpected setback after a shipment of training equipment was reportedly stolen before reaching the team’s base in Kansas City, United States.

According to a report by a British broadcaster, a consignment of England team equipment disappeared while being transported to the squad’s training facility at Soccer Village. Initial reports suggest footballs and players’ boots may be among the missing items, although the Football Association is still working to verify exactly what was stolen.

The theft allegedly occurred when locks on transport vehicles were broken during transit. England head coach Thomas Tuchel and his squad are scheduled to arrive in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon, while the equipment was expected to be in place ahead of their arrival.

Police launched an investigation immediately after the incident was reported and are in contact with the Football Association. According to reports, two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case.

The incident has raised concerns that England’s preparations for the FIFA World Cup could be disrupted at a crucial stage as the tournament gets underway.
