Quetta, Pakistan – Web Desk: Family members of Dr. Mahnoor, a female doctor who survived an acid attack in Quetta, have confirmed that her eyesight remains safe and she is fully conscious.
Speaking to Geo News via telephone, the family said Dr. Mahnoor is alert, able to communicate, and responding well to treatment.
According to relatives, the burn injuries on her body are superficial in nature. Medical teams are currently removing dead skin from affected areas, while reconstructive procedures, including grafting surgeries, are being carried out in phases.
The family added that her treatment is ongoing under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors, and her condition is being closely monitored.
Doctors have also confirmed that her vision has not been affected by the attack, offering some relief amid concerns over her recovery.
Authorities and medical staff continue to provide intensive care as investigations into the incident proceed.
