United Nations, New York – Web Desk: Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations Amir Saeid Iravani has said that discussions between Iran and the United States aimed at finalizing a potential agreement are continuing through Pakistan as an intermediary channel.
Speaking after a UN Security Council meeting on Afghanistan, Iravani said that both sides are still engaged in an ongoing exchange of views to reach a possible framework agreement with the United States.
According to the Iranian state news agency, the ambassador stated that Iran and the United States are actively sharing proposals and perspectives via Pakistan in an effort to reach a final draft agreement.
He added that while no final draft has yet been completed, the dialogue process remains ongoing and active.
The remarks come amid broader diplomatic efforts involving regional intermediaries aimed at reducing tensions between Tehran and Washington.
