Retaliatory Actions Against Minorities, Especially Muslims, Cross All Limits in India

Date:

NEW DELHI – Web Desk: Retaliatory actions against minorities, particularly Muslims, have crossed all limits in India, with the Modi government — perceived to be acting on RSS signals — making life difficult for Muslims and followers of other religions, according to Indian media reports.

The New Indian Express reported that a madrasa in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, was demolished on allegations of occupying government land, while two others were shut down. The madrasa administration claims the institution has been registered since 2000 and all documents are in order. On this occasion, Hindu Raksha Dal chief Pinky Chaudhary made a statement against Muslims, demanding that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also demolish Darul Uloom Deoband with a bulldozer.

Meanwhile, in Dehradun, after a mosque was banned, extremists began Hindu religious worship outside the mosque. According to experts, the ideology of Hindutva has strengthened under Modi’s government, with followers of other religions bearing the brunt.
