Iranian Military Spokesperson Says It Will Not Tolerate Ongoing ‘Atrocities’ in Lebanon

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iran’s armed forces have stated that they will not tolerate what they described as ongoing “violence and atrocities” in Lebanon, according to senior military spokesperson Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi.

In a statement carried by Iranian state-linked media, Shekarchi said Israel had taken advantage of the current ceasefire framework to carry out open military actions on Lebanese territory.

He claimed that these operations have resulted in the deaths or injuries of more than 3,000 people, including women and children, while accusing Western leaders of either remaining silent or openly supporting such actions.

The Iranian military spokesperson warned that Israel’s leadership could face serious regional consequences if its military campaign continues.

The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing exchanges of accusations between regional powers.
