Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Shehbaz Sharif has granted major relief to businesses across Pakistan by exempting commercial centers from fixed closing hour restrictions until May 31.
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, shops, business centers, markets, and commercial outlets nationwide will be allowed to remain open beyond previously prescribed closing times during the exemption period.
The notification stated that all markets, departmental stores, and shopping malls will be permitted to operate throughout the week under normal business hours.
In addition, bakeries, tandoors, restaurants, and grocery stores have also been exempted from the restricted operating schedule.
The decision comes as part of the government’s broader efforts to facilitate businesses and commercial activities amid ongoing economic challenges and public demand for relaxed operating hours.
