New York, United States – Web Desk: At a meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)) held at the United Nations headquarters, Pakistan strongly condemned Israeli military strikes in Lebanon and called for an immediate ceasefire along with unhindered humanitarian access.
Speaking at the session, Pakistan’s Deputy Permanent Representative Usman Jadoon said the humanitarian situation in Lebanon is rapidly deteriorating, with the crisis reaching a critical and dangerous level.

Pakistan reaffirmed its support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and unity, terming the attacks a clear violation of international law.
The delegation also strongly condemned reported attacks on United Nations peacekeeping personnel in Lebanon, warning that such incidents pose a serious threat to regional and global peace and stability.
Pakistan urged the international community to intensify diplomatic efforts, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid, and play a more active role in achieving lasting peace in the region.
