Shahbaz Chairs High-Level Meeting on Islamabad Peace Talks

Islamabad – Web Desk: A high-level consultative meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to discuss the ongoing Islamabad negotiations regarding the Iran-US ceasefire.

According to sources, the session, held last night, included military leadership as well as key federal ministers such as Deputy PM & Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, and the Foreign Secretary.

Participants highlighted that Pakistan’s positive and constructive role in facilitating the ceasefire is being widely appreciated at the international level.

The meeting also paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his pivotal role in achieving diplomatic progress, acknowledging his contribution to Pakistan’s successful mediation efforts.
