Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian military officials have reiterated their commitment to expelling United States forces from the Gulf region, warning that any ground operations by US troops could result in severe consequences.
Brigadier General Abolfazl Shakerchi, spokesperson for Iran’s General Staff, outlined Tehran’s strategy, emphasizing that US personnel in Arab nations will face sustained pressure until they withdraw. “We aim to make the region intolerable for American forces,” he said.
Shakerchi stated that Iran will continue to target US bases across the region. He added that American troops have been forced to take shelter in hotels and ports to avoid attacks. Any US ground incursion, he warned, could become a “kill zone,” causing such losses that future generations may fear military service.
Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Shakerchi declared that Iranian forces have effectively closed access to US and Israeli naval vessels, denying passage under any pretext. The statement reflects Tehran’s ongoing hardline stance amid escalating regional tensions following recent military exchanges with the United States and Israel.
