Pakistan Warns India of Strong Military Response: Khawaja Asif

Date:

Islamabad, Pakistan – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has issued a strong warning to India, stating that any aggression would be met with a decisive military response.

In a statement posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Asif was reacting to remarks by Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Asif said that while India is significantly larger than Pakistan in terms of size and resources, it still faces deep socio-economic challenges, noting that millions of people in India continue to live in poverty.

He accused Singh of attempting to remain politically relevant through public statements and claimed that Pakistan is currently drawing global attention, while India is struggling to gain international support on key issues.

The defence minister warned that any escalation initiated by India would be met with a “stronger and more forceful response” by Pakistan’s armed forces.

The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions, with analysts urging restraint from both nuclear-armed neighbors to avoid further escalation.
