UAE Air Defenses Shoot Down 5 Iranian Missiles, 35 Drones

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed five Iranian ballistic missiles and 35 drones earlier today.

According to the ministry, these defensive operations bring the cumulative total of Iranian missile intercepts since the start of hostilities to 438 missiles and 2,012 drones.

Officials emphasized that the UAE’s advanced air defense capabilities remain fully operational, ensuring the protection of civilian and strategic infrastructure across the country. Analysts note that these repeated interceptions underline the increasing intensity of regional tensions and the growing reliance on missile defense systems in the Gulf.
