North Korea Conducts Second Missile Test in One Week

Date:

Seoul, South Korea – Web Desk: North Korea has conducted its second missile test within a week, raising tensions across East Asia.

According to South Korean news agencies, on March 14, 2026, North Korea launched approximately 10 ballistic missiles from Sunan, near Pyongyang, toward the sea. One missile reportedly traveled 340–350 kilometers before landing in Japanese waters.

Japanese and South Korean authorities confirmed that the missiles fell outside their exclusive economic zones, with no reported damage or casualties.

A few days earlier, North Korea also tested strategic cruise missiles, personally observed by leader Kim Jong Un, from a new warship to assess its naval strike capabilities.

Analysts say these repeated missile tests are part of Pyongyang’s ongoing efforts to enhance its military deterrence amid regional tensions.
