Iran Assures No Regional Conflicts in Call with Pakistan PM

Date:

Tehran, Iran – Web Desk: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Tehran has no intention of entering conflicts with other countries in the region. The remarks came during a phone conversation with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, highlighting a commitment to regional stability.

According to Iranian media, President Pezeshkian emphasized that failure by the international community to hold war perpetrators accountable could pose severe risks to global security and order.

The discussion follows a letter previously sent by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, expressing condolences over the passing of Ayatollah Khamenei and offering sympathy on behalf of the Pakistani people to the Iranian public and the broader Muslim community.

This diplomatic dialogue underscores ongoing efforts between Tehran and Islamabad to maintain peace, prevent escalation, and strengthen regional cooperation amid heightened tensions.
