LAHORE – Web Desk: Police in Lahore have launched an investigation after serious allegations emerged of a woman being deceived with a fake job offer, abducted, and subjected to sexual assault, with reports suggesting that a kidney was later found missing during medical examinations.

The incident occurred in the Chuhang area, where the woman reportedly accepted a job offer before being abducted and taken to another location. According to initial reports, she was held at a private residence and allegedly subjected to multiple offenses.

Medical checks subsequently revealed that the woman’s left kidney was absent, prompting concerns about possible organ-related crimes in addition to the assault allegations.

Chairperson of the Punjab Women Protection Authority, Hina Pervaiz Butt, has taken immediate notice of the case and sought a detailed report from Lahore’s DIG Operations. She directed authorities to ensure swift arrests of all individuals involved.

In a statement, she emphasized that the government would pursue strict action against those responsible and provide full legal, medical, and psychological support to the victim. She reiterated a zero-tolerance policy toward crimes against women and pledged that justice would be ensured.

Authorities have launched a formal investigation to verify the facts and identify the perpetrators. Police officials stated that efforts are underway to gather evidence and apprehend suspects linked to the case.

The incident has drawn public attention and renewed calls for stronger safeguards against gender-based violence and human trafficking.
