PM Shehbaz Meets Global Leaders at Board of Peace Summit

Washington, United States – Web Desk: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace in Washington at the invitation of former US President Donald Trump, where he held informal meetings with several global leaders.

According to officials, Prime Minister Sharif had cordial interactions with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and Indonesia’s President Prabowo Subianto.

The leaders discussed key regional and global issues, including peace, stability, and international cooperation. The meetings were described as warm and informal, marked by exchanges of smiles and diplomatic goodwill.

Pakistan’s participation in the Board of Peace reflects its commitment to promoting peace in Gaza, supporting reconstruction efforts, and strengthening its diplomatic engagement on global peace initiatives. Analysts view Islamabad’s presence at the forum as a sign of Pakistan’s growing role in international diplomacy and peacebuilding efforts.
