Karachi, Pakistan – Web Desk: Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that the reconstruction of the fire-ravaged Gul Plaza will take at least two years. Speaking on Geo Pakistan, Memon emphasized that public safety and traders’ rehabilitation remain the government’s top priorities.
The Sindh government has ordered an inquiry into the Gul Plaza fire incident, and a judicial inquiry will follow if the report is unsatisfactory. In coordination with the Karachi Chamber of Commerce, authorities are ensuring compliance with market safety SOPs, warning that non-compliant markets may face closure.
