UAE Says Airspace, Land, Seas Will Not Be Used in US Military Action
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Web Desk: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has categorically rejected any possibility of its territory being used for a military attack on Iran, as tensions continue to escalate in the Middle East following increased US military deployments in the region.
According to international news agencies, the UAE issued an official statement clarifying that its airspace, land routes, and territorial waters will not be used for any military operation against Iran. The statement comes amid widespread speculation that the United States could rely on Gulf allies for logistical support in a potential large-scale strike.
The UAE further emphasized that it would not provide logistical assistance, including military supplies, facilities, or any form of operational support, should hostilities break out. Officials stressed that the country remains committed to regional stability and rejects any involvement that could escalate conflict.
“The solution to the current crisis lies only in de-escalation, dialogue, respect for international law, and the sovereignty of states,” the statement said, underscoring the UAE’s preference for diplomacy over confrontation.
This clarification comes at a critical time, as the United States has deployed the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group into Gulf waters. US media reports claim the carrier group has moved closer to the Gulf of Oman, raising concerns that it could be used in a possible military operation against Iran.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump confirmed that a powerful naval armada had been sent to the region, stating that Washington was “closely monitoring” developments involving Iran. The deployment has heightened fears of a direct confrontation between the two long-standing adversaries.
Meanwhile, Iran has responded with strong rhetoric. Iranian military officials warned that their forces remain on high alert, stating that their “eyes are on the targets and fingers on the trigger,” awaiting instructions from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The statement reflects Iran’s readiness to respond to any military aggression.
Regional analysts say the UAE’s firm stance reflects growing concerns among Gulf states about being drawn into a broader conflict that could destabilize the region, disrupt global energy supplies, and threaten civilian safety.
As diplomatic efforts struggle to keep pace with military movements, international observers warn that any miscalculation could have far-reaching consequences. Calls for restraint, dialogue, and confidence-building measures continue to grow as the Middle East faces one of its most volatile periods in recent years.
