Delsi Rodriguez warns foreign intervention costs Venezuela dearly, calls for national autonomy
Caracas, Venezuela – Web Desk: Venezuela’s interim president, Delsi Rodriguez, has sharply criticized U.S. interference following sanctions on the country’s oil sector. Speaking to oil company workers, Rodriguez declared, “Enough is enough – the U.S. cannot dictate our decisions. Venezuela must resolve its own issues.”
She highlighted the severe damage caused by repeated foreign interventions and insisted that ending external pressure would allow the nation to restore stability and manage crises independently.
The remarks come after the controversial arrest and transfer of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife to New York by U.S. security forces last month, amid allegations of sanctions violations and smuggling of Venezuelan resources. Maduro and his wife have denied the charges, labeling the operation an abduction aimed at seizing Venezuela’s oil.
