Security sources clarify Pakistan’s military won’t target Hamas or any Muslim nation
Pakistan, after consulting eight major Islamic countries, has decided to join the Gaza Peace Board, according to military sources. In a briefing with senior journalists in Islamabad, officials clarified that the Pakistan Army will not be used to disarm Hamas or act against Palestine or any Muslim nation.
The sources emphasized that Pakistan’s participation was a carefully considered decision and reaffirmed that only the U.S. can prevent atrocities against Palestinians. They further stated that Pakistan maintains strong alliances with China and friendly relations with the UAE, the UK, and other international partners.
Regarding domestic security, the sources highlighted ongoing counter-terrorism operations in Balochistan, governance issues in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and strict measures against Taliban militants. They assured that Pakistan’s military and government decisions prioritize national interests, unity, and security, and no individual or political party can supersede the state’s authority.
